Getting involved with the Further Mathematics Network
This page contains information about how Students, Schools and Colleges, Tutors, Industry and Universities can get involved with the Further Mathematics Network and also who to contact for General Enquiries.
Students
If you would like to study AS/A-level Further Mathematics and cannot do so at your school/college, either because they do not currently offer it, or because it clashes with your other timetabled subjects, then please speak to your mathematics teacher/head of mathematics about the possibility of receiving tuition through the Further Mathematics Network. Your school or college will need to contact your local Further Mathematics Centre to arrange this.
If, for any reason, your school or college cannot help you, please contact your local Further Mathematics Centre Manager directly.
Adult learners should investigate whether it is possible to study at a Further Education College in their region or contact their local Further Mathematics Centre Manager to discuss studying through the Network.
Contact details for your local Further Mathematics Centre Manager can be found by selecting the relevant Centre in the menu.
Schools and Colleges
The Further Mathematics Network can help all schools and colleges, regardless of whether they already offer Further Mathematics. To get involved, schools and colleges should register with their local Further Mathematics Centre. In return for registering, schools/colleges will receive free access to extensive online resources to support the teaching and learning of Further Mathematics, including materials for the Applied A-Level modules, and will be invited to participate in study days, revision days and student enrichment activities organised by their local Further Mathematics Centre. Schools and colleges that register will also have the opportunity to use the tutoring facilities of the Centre.
Schools and colleges can submit an online request to register with their local Centre: online registration request.
